I have been waiting for you since to contact me for your Confirmable BankDraft of $700.000.00 United States
Dollars, but I did not hear from you since that time. Then I went and deposited the Draft with FEDEX
COURIER SERVICE,West Africa, I travelled out of the country for a 3 Months Course and I will not come back till end of
March. What you have to do now is to contact the FEDEX COURIER SERVICE as soon aspossible to know
when they will deliver your package to you because of the expiring date. For your information, I have paid for the
delivering Charge,Insurance premium and Clearance Certificate Fee of the Cheque showing that it
is not a Drug Money or meant to sponsor Terrorist attack in your Country.

The only money you will send to the FEDEX COURIER SERVICE to deliver your Draft direct to your postal Address in your
country is ($300.00 USD) only being Security Keeping Fee of the Courier Company so far.
Again, don't be deceived by anybody to pay any other money except $300.00US Dollars.

I would have paid that but they said no because they don't know when you will contact them and in case of
demurrage. You have to contact the FEDEX COURIER SERVICE now for the delivery of your Draft with this
information bellow;

Finally, make sure that you reconfirm your Postal address() and Direct telephone number to them again to avoid any
mistake on the Delivery and ask them to give you the tracking number to enable you track your
package over there and know when it will get to your address.
Let me repeat again, try to contact them as soon as you receive this mail to avoid any further delay and remember
to pay them their Security Keeping fee of $300.00 US Dollars for their immediate action. You
should also let me know through email as soon as you receive your Draft.

Yours Faithfully,
Mrs.Kate Jefferson

My Reply:

Dear Mrs Jefferson,

How original of you to use a former president's name.

Very nice to know you are in cahoots with a Japanese.

Now, just because you do not know, FEDEX does not use hotmail, they have their own accounts.

I would appreciate it if you could type properly and leave spaces where required... Oops I forgot, also to use proper English.

Well then, have a nice day Mrs. Jefferson.

Regards,
Mrs. Bush

P.S. I see you took the pains of making my email reply straight to the hotmail account.

Hmm... I wonder if I'll be getting more spam scams.

Learning the Hard Way

What happens when you run a 5k after four months of not running (other than the elusive 2k runs) and you try to do it at the same speed?

1. You get extra short in breath after repeated shouting for a towel at the gym.
2. You keep increasing the speed as usual... but you seem to be moving off the treadmill.
3. At the last 1k, you feel tired... and all you can think of is stop now, STOP NOW!
4. You push the speed up like mad at the last 400m (which you always do) for your last burst of energy, and you almost succeed in... falling off the treadmill.
5. After just three hours, your thighs are numb with pain - every tiny movement of your legs requires extreme suffering, well you could always use your hands to move them up and down

I am never, NEVER, running a 5k again. Okay, maybe not till the exams are over.

Now, this a quote I wish I could apply to myself:

I have to race. I'm like a Ferrari. You can't keep it in the garage.

Mud Butt

Today, on the walk home from Jurong Point, I stepped off the pavement and up onto a stretch of grass for my usual cut across to the other side. And found myself on my ass on gooey mud. It was rather soft, and would have felt nice (sitting on soft substance) if it didn’t mar the surface of my pristine white shorts (which have to be dyed black now).

One month to go to the exams……. How does one find the time to study when life suddenly explodes with projects?

Passed the audition, will be performing the Barber of Seville duet on 31st May at MGS concert hall. I wonder if they really do have a concert hall, but it will definitely be a wonderful experience performing at my alma mater.

This photo was taken at Capetown, South Africa.

On the way down from the lighthouse at cape point, (we took a tram up) spotted this lovely bloom which was swaying madly in the breeze.

Beautiful unknown flower or possibly weed.

While I was trying to take a photo of it, two people came along and declared it beautiful too and took photos of it (:

After that, had to rush down to find sister who had walked off without me (that bitch).

Taken at the visitors' centre at the Death Railway. This peace vessel overlooks the beautiful scenery where one of the major war crimes occurred - est 160,000 died while building the railway.

This is near the spot of Hellfire Pass, a particularly difficult site to make a cutting through rock. Today, you can walk through the cutting and see the remains of part of the railway track.

Inebriated

Of late, I have been feeling mentally and emotionally stupefied. It either resulted from hours of tinkling on the piano ivories (okay, banging) or lack of sleep.

The pressure faced by Mom forking out $720 for my ATCL exam has motivated me for about 3 weeks of strenuous exertion on the baby grand. That's right, only 3 weeks.

I long to sleep.

Sidenote:
Every morning when I walk from Jurong Point to the bus interchange, a familiar sight of a long winding queue of Singaporeans greet me. Lelong lelong, free Today newspapers!
